Wordless Wednesday: Pizza

Lunch date with daddy at our favorite pizza place!

*two posts in one day! woohoo!!! I'm on a roll... now don't go thinking it will last ;)

Hi Ho Hi Ho is back to work I go! And Blake gets to come too!

On Monday after (technically) (almost) a year and a half, I went back to work! (But I guess if you consider nannying work, then you could say I have always been working, I nannied all last school year.)

I started working again at the Childcare Center where I worked before Blake was born. The great thing about it is Blake gets to come with me! And (even better) he is in the classroom I work in! I am excited to be back in the classroom!
 Playing!
 We love Miss Alishia!!
Yay for new friends!

I'm looking forward to this new adventure, I think it will be great for Blake to have more social interaction and also learn to "share" his mommy :)

So long 27...

Hello 28!
Yes, today is my birthday.
Another year older.
The years just keep going by faster and faster.
I think have decided that this will be my last birthday.
I think 28 sounds like a good age to be the rest of my life :)

15 months!

15 months!! I can't believe Blake is already 15 months! It's been awhile since I have done a "Blake update" so here we go...

Blake stats:
Blake has been walking for a little over a month now. I would say he has pretty much mastered walking and is now beginning to run!
He is a very busy little boy, only stopping to eat and sleep. He always amazes me at how fast he can get all his toys out, all at once it seems.
We have definitely entered the "toddler years".
We are learning what the word "no" means. He loves to run in the bathroom (if the door is open) and wreak havoc aka: unroll the tp, play in the toilet or empty the diaper pail... thankfully we have always caught him before any of this takes place.
He is a chatter box, always babbling about something. But so far the only words I really understand are dada and bye.
He knows the sign for more.
He now has 4 yes, I said 4 teeth!!!! They have come in in the most random order starting with the top right canine! Then the bottom right, top left, and the other top canine just popped through. You might not believe me since you can't see them in the pictures but do believe me, they are there and are slowly working their way up or down!
Despite his lack of teeth he pretty much eats anything. He loves LOVES fruit. Vegetables not so much.
He is still taking two naps a day. An hour or so one in the morning and then anywhere from 2-3 hours in the afternoon. And he sleeps 7:30pm-6:30am generally. He sleeps like a champ :) (I am a lucky mama)
When he hears music he dances. Its too cute.
He wears mostly size 12 month.
He is turning into a very curious little guy.
He brings so much joy to our lives! Its the best thing to waking up to his hugs and kisses every morning!

From Baby to Toddler

Blake hits 15 months tomorrow. I just can't believe my baby is now a toddler. And let me tell you, we have definitely entered the "toddler years". So since my baby is turning into a toddler, thought it would be fun to take a minute and look back at his first year!

Fall

Fall. How I love fall. It's my favorite season hands down. And I can't believe it's already here. Well kind of, it doesn't really feel like it... it's suppose to be in the 90s all week long... very unusual for this time of year here in Oregon.

I love fall because it means... football. tailgating. pumpkin spice lattes. my birthday. leaves changing colors. 70 degree perfect weather. crunchy leaves to step on. yummy smelling candles. and some more football and pumpkin spice lattes :)

Yes, I mention I love fall because of football. Some of you know, I was raised I guess you could say, a die-hard OSU Beaver fan. In this family we bleed orange.

As of last year we became season ticket holders for our beloved Beavers. Today was our home opener. It was sad to say the least. We lost, yes, this might not be too surprising to some of you, (OSU doesn't have the greatest track record at the start of the season) to Sac State, in overtime, by 1. stinking. point. YES 1 point! I would go into details but I'd rather not. I will be honest and say it was a  disappointing game. But no matter how many times my Beavers lose I will always be a fan. You win some and you lose some and I'm afraid this season we might lose more then we would like.

So for now I'll leave you with a picture of this supper adorable little boy while tailgating.

Here's to hoping a better turn out for the next game... GO BEAVS!!!!
